Creating and managing research datasets in support of research projects and preparatory-to-research activities. Summarizing data into various formats including reports, tables, charts, and graphics.
Conducting data quality checks and improvements. Creating and maintaining technical documentation related to research data and processes
Partnering with other OCHIN departments and affiliated research institutions, as appropriate
Participating in operationalizing variables and translating research questions into appropriate functional and analytic designs
Providing technical/consultative services in the context of research projects and networks
Other duties as assigned.?
Minimum 2 years working with health care data (electronic health records, claims data, etc.) preferred.
Minimum 2 years working with Large Data Sets
Minimum 1 year programming experience with data querying and/or statistical software (SQL or SAS preferred) preferred.
Experience working with complex relational databases; ability to read, write, and maintain SQL code; database query skills and experience cleaning large, messy datasets preferred.
Knowledge or experience with Epic EHR or Clarity database preferred.
Knowledge of community health centers and safety net healthcare preferred.
Health-related research experience preferred.
