Rental Asset Operations Manager

Job Overview

Operational Execution and Coordination

• Plan, allocate, book, and optimize rental assets across categories.
• Manage asset preparation, dispatch, returns, inspection, and system updates.
• Allocate manpower and plan daily warehouse and operational resources.
• Coordinate vehicles, shipment packing lists, and material transportation.
• Coordinate with project, warehouse, logistics, procurement, and operations teams.
• Track asset movement using rental management systems, RFID systems, and related technologies.
• Coordinate maintenance, repairs, and asset readiness.
• Ensure SLA and KPI targets and departmental objectives are achieved.

Performance and Governance

• Monitor utilization, tracking accuracy, inventory records, warehouse efficiency, asset availability, condition, and readiness.
• Monitor project deliveries, service quality, operational costs, tools, machinery, RFID devices, scanners, and equipment.
• Manage purchase requests, preparation standards, movement transactions, timesheets, manpower allocation, expenses, and return reports.
• Ensure compliance with tracking, scanning, asset identification, operational, and system usage procedures.

Continuous Improvement

• Improve rental asset planning, forecasting, tracking, traceability, warehouse preparation, and dispatch processes.
• Support installation, derig, maintenance coordination, inventory control, reporting, automation, and operational system integration.
• Monitor operational KPIs and report performance.

Knowledge and Experience

• At least five years of experience in rental operations, warehouse operations, supply chain, or asset management.
• Experience in events, exhibitions, logistics, rental, or similarly complex operational environments is preferred.
• A degree or diploma in supply chain, operations management, logistics, industrial engineering, business administration, or an equivalent field.
• Fluency in spoken and written English is required.
• Hindi, Urdu, or Arabic language capability is advantageous.

Systems and Skills

• Knowledge of ERP, asset management, and warehouse management systems.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Excel, Word, and PowerPoint.
• Skills in rental asset management, warehouse operations, inventory control, RFID tracking, logistics coordination, resource planning, process optimization, and KPI reporting.
• Leadership, team management, analytical problem-solving, communication, collaboration, and attention to detail.

Additional Work Requirements

• Inter-departmental cross-training is required.
• Weekend and extended-hours work may be required based on operational demands.
• A UAE driving license is required.

• Use machinery, tools, appliances, equipment, and personal protective equipment correctly.
• Follow safety regulations, preserve safety devices, and cooperate in maintaining a safe working environment.
• Follow recycling processes and help reduce and monitor resource consumption.
