Role Overview
The Purchase Runner sources, collects, and delivers materials, products, samples, and urgent procurement requirements across Saudi Arabia.
The role supports procurement by identifying suppliers, obtaining product information, coordinating purchases, and ensuring timely delivery.
Main Accountabilities
- Source materials, products, consumables, and samples from local markets and suppliers across KSA.
- Visit suppliers, manufacturers, and trading centres to identify products and alternatives.
- Verify quality, quantity, specifications, availability, and supplier reliability.
- Obtain quotations, technical specifications, samples, catalogues, and supplier information.
- Assist with supplier identification, price negotiation, and delivery terms within approved limits.
- Collect purchased materials and coordinate delivery to warehouses, offices, and project sites.
- Support urgent procurement requests and expedite deliveries when required.
- Maintain supplier relationships and report pricing, quality, delivery, or service issues.
- Maintain records of purchases, supplier visits, quotations, and deliveries.
- Manage petty cash and expense documentation and submit receipts and invoices for reconciliation.
- Complete sourcing activities within agreed timelines and support cost savings and process improvement.
- Provide sourcing updates and support operations during peak periods, weekends, and public holidays.
