- Provide oversight on compliance obligations, complaints, and related controls for non financial services
- Ensure high quality regulatory mapping
- Challenge, assess, and implement policies from scratch
- Review 1LoD compliance approvals for non financial services and provide appropriate feedback
- Ensure a robust, company wide training and competency programme
- Dive into root cause analyses to drive better customer outcomes
- Oversee horizon scanning for relevant geographies
Requirements
- 7+ years of experience in a regulatory compliance role within a consultancy, compliance function, or regulator
- Expertise in regulations related to non financial services (ASA CAP Code, TeleCo regulations, etc.)
- A university degree in STEM, business, or finance
- Knowledge of how to conduct regulatory gap analysis
- Familiarity with policy creation and implementation
- A solid understanding of the interplay between compliance risk and business risk
- The ability to work well under pressure, manage multiple projects at once, and meet tight deadlines
- The ability to communicate positively with members of various internal teams and regulators
- Excellent analytical, communication, and interpersonal skills
- Fluency in English
