Responsibilities
- Provide oversight on compliance obligations for cryptoasset products and related controls
- Ensure high quality regulatory mapping
- Challenge, assess, and implement policies from scratch
- Review 1LoD compliance approvals for cryptoasset products and provide appropriate feedback
- Ensure a robust, company wide cryptoasset training and competency programme
- Provide 2LoD oversight on cryptoasset complaints, diving into root cause analyses to drive better customer outcomes
- Oversee horizon scanning for relevant geographies
Requirements
- 7+ years of experience in a regulatory compliance role within a consultancy, compliance function, or regulator
- Expertise in cryptoasset related obligations (MiCA, CARF, etc.)
- University degree in STEM, business, or finance
- Knowledge of how to conduct regulatory gap analysis
- Familiarity with policy creation and implementation
- Solid understanding of the interplay between compliance risk and business risk
- Ability to work well under pressure, manage multiple projects, and meet tight deadlines
- Excellent analytical, communication, and interpersonal skills
- Fluency in English

What you'll be doing

- Reviewing 1LoD compliance approvals for cryptoasset products, and providing appropriate feedback.
- Ensuring a robust, company wide cryptoasset training and competency programme.
- Providing 2LoD oversight on cryptoasset complaints, diving into root cause analyses to drive better customer outcomes.
- Overseeing horizon scanning for relevant geographies.
What you'll need
- 7+ years of experience in a regulatory compliance role within a consultancy, compliance function, or regulator.
