Position Overview
- The Department of Mechanical Engineering at American University of Sharjah invites applications for a regular or visiting faculty position at assistant, associate, or full professor level commencing Fall Semester 2027.
- The successful candidate for the regular position will be expected to establish a high level, active research program.
- Visiting faculty positions are primarily focused on teaching and are one year renewable contracts.
Qualifications
- PhD in Mechanical Engineering or a closely related field.
- Evidence of a significant teaching portfolio.
- Evidence of excellence in teaching and research.
- Experience in the American model of higher education is highly desirable.
