Regional Human Resources Manager

Job Scope

HR Strategy and Talent

• Develop and implement HR strategies aligned with regional business objectives and growth plans.
• Provide strategic HR guidance to laboratory managers, technical leaders, and operational executives.
• Support organizational design, workforce planning, and talent development.
• Lead recruitment strategies for specialized laboratory, geoscience, engineering, and field roles.
• Build talent pipelines and oversee onboarding for technical and operational employees.

Employee Relations and Compliance

• Advise on performance management, disciplinary actions, conflict resolution, and other employee relations issues.
• Ensure consistent application of company policies across regional locations.
• Ensure compliance with employment laws and labor regulations in each country.
• Manage country-specific requirements for contracts, terminations, benefits, and labor relations.
• Partner with legal advisors on complex employment matters.

Compensation and Development

• Support competitive regional compensation structures for oil and gas and laboratory services markets.
• Manage benefits programs across multiple countries and vendors.
• Participate in compensation benchmarking and annual salary review cycles.
• Lead performance management and leadership development initiatives.
• Support succession planning, career development, and operational training programs.

HR Operations and Culture

• Oversee payroll coordination, HRIS administration, and HR reporting.
• Manage HR metrics and analytics to inform leadership decisions.
• Support HR process standardization across the region.
• Promote a strong safety culture and lead employee engagement and organizational culture programs.

Qualifications

• Degree in Human Resources, Psychology, Business Administration, or a related field.
• CIPD qualification.
• At least 10 years of progressive HR experience with Middle East labor laws.
• Experience managing HR across multiple countries.
• Experience in oil and gas services, energy, laboratory services, engineering, or technical environments is strongly preferred.
• English fluency is essential; Arabic is a plus.

Work Environment
