Job Purpose

  • Provide recruiting services in assigned areas of the business and deliver high quality talent in a timely manner by implementing effective search and selection techniques.

Accountabilities

  • Participate and understand the operational objectives and manpower recruitment needs of the assigned departments within HIA and convert this understanding into proactive recruitment plans
  • Implement these plans effectively while responding to unbudgeted increases within HIA
  • Manage third party agency agreements and processes when appropriate for recruitment assistance
  • Projects manage specific recruitment campaigns of HIA both in and outside Qatar
  • Utilize available databases to identify potential candidates, and when necessary write quality print and web based advertisements
  • Use appropriate methodologies and ensure effective benchmarking of candidates predominantly up to and including management grade
  • Review HIA job descriptions and prepare appropriate competency based questions for both telephone screening, pre recorded and face to faces interviews
  • Liaise with HIA Line Managers regarding required questions and advise and facilitate professional selection interviews/assessment centres
  • Perform reference checks where required and effectively negotiate offer contracts with preferred candidates
  • Offer additional guidance and support to HIA Line Managers through transferring professional knowledge

Qualifications, Experience & Skills

  • High School Qualification / Vocational Qualification / Diploma or Equivalent with Minimum 5 years of job related experience
  • Bachelor's Degree or Equivalent with Minimum 4 years of job related experience
  • Strong Experience in agency and in house
  • Experience with niche / hard to fill roles
  • Recruiting experience in full life cycle end to end process, including management of multiple high volume roles simultaneously
  • Recruiting experience in relevant industry
  • Attention to detail and negotiation skills
  • Excellent command of English language
  • Headhunting and Interviewing Skills
  • Able to work under pressure to meet deadlines
  • Experience of demonstrating accountability in managing effective working relationships
  • Well developed inter personal skills with excellent communication skills, both oral and written
