About the Role
Anantara The Palm Dubai Resort seeks a Recreation Manager to oversee the Sports & Recreations department. The role involves creating unique activities, ensuring safety, managing budgets, and driving revenue.

Responsibilities
- Oversee the smooth running of the Sports & Recreations department on a day to day basis to achieve the highest possible levels of guest satisfaction
- Create new, unique and interesting recreation activities that draw upon the best cultural, sporting or other offerings of the area
- Continually position the sports and leisure offering as a differentiator and a point of competitive advantage for the hotel
- Ensure outsourced service providers are of good quality
- Have complete knowledge of the products and services offered by the hotel
- Lead the implementation of all health and safety codes in the sports and leisure activities
- Take the lead on the Anantara Children program
- Ensure that all activities are performed in a safe environment using proper safety techniques
- Train and assist in the evaluation of attendants who work with fitness programs
- Supervise instructors and all other associates help with any activities or functions arranged via Sports & Recreations
- Monitor the success of the activity’s programs through the number of participants and guest feedback
- Prepare and circulate clear information to guests of the events offered by the hotel
Requirements
- Previous experience in a similar role at a luxury resort or hotel in the UAE
- Strong leadership and team development skills
- Excellent communication skills and guest engagement abilities
- Fluency in English; additional languages are an advantage
- CPR and First Aid certification (preferred or willing to obtain)
