Job Location
- Anantara Mina Al Arab Ras Al Khaimah Resort.
Responsibilities
- Support the smooth day-to-day running of the Sports and Recreations department.
- Create and deliver distinctive cultural, sporting, and leisure activities for hotel guests.
- Implement health and safety procedures and ensure activities use appropriate safety techniques.
- Execute the Minor Hotels Children programme and take full care of children during relevant activities.
- Monitor participation and guest feedback to maintain high-quality, enjoyable, and original programmes.
- Provide guests with clear information about hotel events in coordination with the Concierge.
- Promote spa services and support guest satisfaction and department revenue.
- Keep gym, sports, water sports, and other recreational equipment clean and well maintained.
- Provide gym guests and members with knowledge and motivation to achieve exercise-related fitness goals.
- Maintain guest fitness information for appropriate follow-up on goal progress.
- Work effectively with other departments and follow accounting procedures for recreation fees.
Qualifications
- Previous experience in recreation.
- Good verbal communication and interpersonal skills.
- Friendly, approachable, and professional approach to assisting guests.
- Knowledge of basic safety procedures and appropriate emergency response.
- Ability to stand for extended periods and participate in or supervise recreational activities.
- Ability to work effectively with other staff members.
- Excellent English communication skills; additional languages are advantageous.
- Basic knowledge of recreational equipment and facility maintenance.
