Key Responsibilities
- Assist with food preparation and service and prepare mise en place for outlets as required.
- Follow food preparation and presentation guidelines to provide consistent culinary quality.
- Keep working areas clean and tidy to maintain a hygienic working environment.
- Maintain food safety and protection through proper dating, storage, rotation, handling, and sanitation.
- Look after hotel property, equipment, and facilities.
- Participate in departmental training to improve skills and hotel service levels.
- Maintain adherence to departmental checklists and cleaning schedules.
- Assist with events, banquets, and other functions as required.
- Follow personal hygiene, grooming, fire safety, and health and safety standards.
Requirements
- Follow food preparation and presentation guidelines to maintain consistent culinary quality.
- Apply proper food handling, dating, storage, rotation, safety, and sanitation practices.
- Maintain personal hygiene and grooming standards and comply with fire and health and safety regulations.
- Participate in departmental training and follow cleaning schedules and departmental checklists.
