Role Overview
The Mixologist role is based at Anantara Downtown Dubai.
Deliver gracious and professional guest service in accordance with Anantara food and beverage quality, presentation, sanitation, and hospitality standards.
Key Responsibilities
- Set up the bar at the beginning of each shift with liquor, ice, glassware, juices, garnishes, and other required items.
- Process drink orders in the proper calling order and manage billing accurately, promptly, and efficiently.
- Prepare cocktails according to the Anantara Resorts & Spas Standard Beverage Manual using full standard measures.
- Receive and check liquor against the previous shift’s requisitions and report discrepancies to the Food and Beverage Supervisor.
- Maintain security and control within the work area and remain at the bar unless properly relieved.
- Maintain bar and work-area cleanliness, including floors, cans, bottles, rails, counters, and ice bins.
- Follow Anantara’s Responsible Usage of Alcohol guidelines, including restrictions on serving underage or heavily intoxicated guests.
Service Standards
- Serve guests according to Anantara standards for food and beverage quality, presentation, and sanitation.
- Display high standards of hospitality and professionalism when interacting with guests.
- Take responsibility for service quality, personal appearance, and cleanliness.
- Understand and follow Beverage Department standard operating procedures.
- Seek opportunities to recommend improvements to beverage procedures.
