Job Overview
- To provide radiological services to patients at Dallah Hospital, performing procedures at a technical level without supervision.
Key Responsibilities
- Select and operate appropriate equipment for each exam.
- Position patients according to examinations requested.
- Select appropriate technical factors for each patient.
- Produce images of acceptable film quality.
- Use suitable working practices to ensure radiation protection and safety compliance.
- Maintain correct professional conduct and ethical relationships.
- Ensure examination rooms are clean and ready at all times.
- Report equipment malfunctions to Chief Technician or designee.
- Assist in emergency treatment of patients.
- Observe infection control standards, especially sterile procedures.
- Administer oral, rectal, and parenteral contrast media under radiologist supervision.
- Implement and coordinate policies for Standards of Care and Quality Improvement.
Qualifications
- Ability to perform radiological procedures independently.
- Knowledge of radiation protection and safety regulations.
- Professional conduct and ethical behavior.
- Ability to administer contrast media under supervision.
