- Prepare quantity take offs, BOQs, and cost estimates based on project drawings and specifications
- Analyze project drawings to identify material quantities, labor requirements, and cost implications
- Monitor and control project costs and budgets throughout the project lifecycle
- Evaluate variations, change orders, and additional work and prepare cost analysis
- Assist in preparing payment applications, valuations, and final accounts
- Prepare comparison sheets for subcontractor quotations and supplier proposals
- Prepare and review contracts, subcontract agreements, and commercial terms
- Manage procurement of construction materials, equipment, and subcontractor services
- Review quotations and conduct commercial bid analysis
- Negotiate pricing, delivery schedules, and commercial terms with suppliers and subcontractors
- Maintain proper documentation for quantities, procurement records, and contracts
- Prepare cost reports, procurement status reports, and budget tracking reports
Requirements
- Minimum 8 years of experience in Quantity Surveying and Procurement within construction or fit out projects in Dubai
- Bachelor's degree in quantity surveying, Civil Engineering, or Construction Management from approved University
- Professionally Qualified Chartered status, RICS, AIQS, CIQS, ASAQS, NZIQS
- Proven experience in quantity take offs, BOQ preparation, and cost control
- Experience managing procurement processes and subcontractor coordination
- Familiarity with contract administration, variation management, and claims
- Proficiency in Microsoft Excel, Word, AutoCAD and Outlook
- Strong negotiation, analytical, and problem solving skills

Job Overview
- The role will be responsible for accurate quantity surveying, cost estimation, procurement of materials and subcontractors, and ensuring compliance with project contracts and budgets.
- The ideal candidate will support project teams by maintaining cost control, managing procurement processes, and ensuring commercial and contractual requirements are properly handled throughout the project lifecycle.
Main Responsibilities
- Prepare quantity take offs, BOQs, and cost estimates based on project drawings and specifications.

Requirements
- Minimum 8 years of experience in Quantity Surveying and Procurement within construction or fit out projects in Dubai.
- Proven experience in quantity take offs, BOQ preparation, and cost control.
- Experience managing procurement processes and subcontractor coordination.
- Familiarity with contract administration, variation management, and claims.
- Experience in UAE construction or interior fit out projects is preferred.
- Bachelor’s degree in quantity surveying, Civil Engineering, or Construction Management from approved University.
- Professionally Qualified Chartered status, RICS, AIQS, CIQS, ASAQS, NZIQS.
- Strong knowledge of quantity surveying principles, cost estimation, and BOQ preparation.
- Excellent understanding of construction procurement processes and contract administration.
- Ability to review and interpret construction drawings and specifications.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Excel, Word, AutoCAD and Outlook.
- Strong negotiation, analytical, and problem solving skills.
