Qualifications
- An equivalency certificate in the UAE is required.
- A degree qualification is preferred, ideally in quantity surveying.
- At least 5 years of experience in roadworks and infrastructure is required.
Roles and Responsibilities
- Measure project quantities accurately at all project stages for variations, major material orders, and contra charges.
- Ensure subcontractor payments comply with relevant subcontract agreements and supply orders.
- Carry out measurements according to the relevant standard method of measurement under the main contract.
- Prepare quantity takeoff summaries for major material orders, variations, and contra charges.
- Maintain traceable and current measurement records throughout the project.
- Prepare subcontractor payment certificates and compare them with main contract progress certifications.
- Prepare calculations and supporting drawings for variation submissions and proposals to the consultant.
- Evaluate work progress for monthly payment applications to the consultant.
- Evaluate variations under the main contract and subcontracts as required.
- Draft correspondence, notifications, and entitlements relating to contractual matters.
- Maintain the subcontract payment certificate tracking sheet.
- Develop procedures to track project correspondence relating to commercial and contractual matters.
Experience and Location
- Roadworks and infrastructure experience of at least 5 years is required.
- Roads and infrastructure works experience of at least 3 years is required.
- The role requires work in Abu Dhabi.

- Work location is in person.
