The position is an HSE Engineer within the QHSE department.

Work Setting
- The position is based in Abu Dhabi, UAE.
- Work is performed in person across construction sites.
Key Responsibilities
- Implement and monitor HSE policies, procedures, and safety requirements across construction sites.
- Conduct regular site inspections, risk assessments, and safety audits.
- Identify potential hazards and ensure appropriate safety controls are applied.
- Ensure compliance with UAE HSE regulations, client requirements, and approved safety procedures.
- Conduct toolbox talks, safety inductions, and HSE training for employees and subcontractors.
- Investigate incidents and near misses and prepare reports.
- Ensure corrective and preventive actions are implemented.
Requirements
- A bachelor’s degree or diploma in Engineering, Occupational Health and Safety, or a related field is required.
- The role requires 4–5 years of relevant HSE experience in general contracting.
- UAE construction experience is preferred.
- NEBOSH IGC or IOSH certification is preferred.
- Good knowledge of construction safety practices, risk assessment, and incident investigation is required.
- Strong communication and site coordination skills are required.
