Responsibilities
- Assist in conducting regular quality and patient safety audits and inspections within assigned departments
- Monitor and track incident reports, near misses, and adverse events, ensuring timely documentation and follow up
- Support root cause analysis (RCA) investigations and assist in developing corrective action plans
- Facilitate staff training and awareness programs on quality standards and patient safety protocols
- Collaborate with clinical and administrative teams to promote compliance with accreditation and regulatory standards
- Collect, analyze, and report data related to patient safety indicators and quality metrics
- Participate in quality improvement projects and support implementation of safety initiatives
- Maintain up to date knowledge of hospital policies, procedures, and national healthcare regulations
- Assist in preparing reports for hospital leadership and quality committees
- Support coordination during internal and external audits and accreditation surveys
Requirements
- 2–4 years of experience in healthcare quality, patient safety, or risk management
- Bachelor’s degree in Nursing, Pharmacy, Healthcare Administration, or related field
- Knowledge of healthcare accreditation standards and patient safety frameworks
- Familiarity with incident reporting systems and quality improvement methodologies
- Strong observational and analytical skills
- Good communication and interpersonal abilities
- Ability to work collaboratively with multidisciplinary teams
- Detail oriented and organized
- Proficient in data collection and reporting tools
- Fluent in English and Arabic is an advantage

Job Purpose
- To support the implementation and monitoring of quality and patient safety programs by supervising daily activities, conducting audits, reporting incidents, and ensuring adherence to hospital policies and regulatory requirements to promote a safe care environment.
Roles and Responsibilities
- Ensure work is performed based on approved policies, processes, procedures, and instructions
- Identify opportunities for continuous improvement of systems, processes and practices
- Ensure day to day activities are properly performed in line with policies and procedures
- Follow up on escalated cases/issues of subordinates to ensure they are closed efficiently
- Assist in conducting regular quality and patient safety audits and inspections within assigned departments
- Monitor and track incident reports, near misses, and adverse events, ensuring timely documentation and follow up
