- Develop and implement the organization's safety policy and procedures

- Take command of hospital fire fighting in affected area and lead response team

- Maintain inventory of safety equipment (smoke detectors, fire extinguishers, etc.)
- Conduct Major Internal Disaster and Chemical Spill Drills
- Conduct Quarterly meeting with Safety Coordinators
- Ensure Safety related policies are implemented throughout Hospital Departments
Requirements
- 2 4 years experience in a similar field with at least two years in a safety role
- Bachelor's degree

Description
- Developing and implementing the organization's safety policy and procedures, maintaining safety equipment, and conducting safety trainings so that all employees have a safe working environment and the organization complies with all current and future regulations and laws.
Responsibilities
- Recommend changes to working policies and processes to ensure safe working environment.
- Conduct safety audits and on site inspections to identify workplace hazards and unsafe equipment.
- Educate and train the organizations workforce on safety (e.g. fire fighting extinguisher and fire prevention, Hazardous Materials and Hazardous Waste, Disaster Preparedness, Fire Safety trainings).
- Ensure that safety equipment, supplies and resources are available.
- In the event of fire, takes command of the hospital fire fighting in the affected area and lead response team.
- Maintain and analyze records of workplace injuries to identify areas of concern.
- Maintains an inventory of safety equipment (Smoke Detectors, Heat Detectors, Fire Extinguishers, etc.).
- Conduct Major Internal Disaster and Chemical Spill Drills as per requirement of JCIA.
- Conduct Quarterly meeting with Safety Coordinators, prepare minutes of meeting and maintain record.
- Ensure Safety related policies are being implemented throughout Hospital Departments.

- 2 4 years experience in a similar field with at least two years’ experience in a safety role
