Responsibilities
- Lead and support the CSO in the annual and multi year strategic planning cycle
- Own the design, development, and continuous refinement of the organizational Balanced Scorecard across all four perspectives
- Prepare and present high level strategic performance reports including KPI dashboards, variance analyses, and executive scorecards
- Translate enterprise level strategic objectives into departmental scorecards and operational targets
- Perform advanced quantitative and qualitative analysis on clinical, operational, and financial datasets
- Design the KPI framework, define measures and targets, and build dashboard architecture using Tableau or Power BI
- Build financial models, conduct scenario analyses, and perform cost benefit and ROI assessments
- Maintain oversight of the strategic project portfolio, monitoring alignment with BSC and strategic objectives
- Author strategic presentations, memos, and briefing documents for the CSO, C Suite, and Board
Requirements
- 4–6 years in data analysis, business strategy, or strategic planning roles
- Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Healthcare Management, Data Analytics, Economics, or related field; Master's degree strongly preferred
- Proficient in Excel, PowerPoint, and data visualization tools (e.g., Power BI, Tableau)
- Healthcare sector experience is a strong advantage
- Certification in project analysis, business analytics, or project management preferred

Job Purpose
- The Strategy Analyst supports the (CSO) in driving the healthcare organization's strategic agenda by translating the organizational vision into measurable, actionable outcomes.
- The role exists to ensure that the organization's strategic plan is continuously monitored, rigorously analysed, and effectively executed across all departments.
- Through the application of the Balanced Scorecard (BSC) framework, advanced data analysis, and structured process improvement project tracking, the Strategy Analyst serves as the analytical and operational backbone of the Corporate Strategy function.
Organizational Accountabilities
- Leads and supports the CSO in the annual and multi year strategic planning cycle.
- Owns the design, development, and continuous refinement of the organizational BSC across all four perspectives: Financial, Customer, Internal Processes, and Learning & Growth.
- Prepares and presents high level strategic performance reports — including KPI dashboards, variance analyses, and executive scorecards — for the CSO, C Suite, and Board of Directors.
- Translates enterprise level strategic objectives into departmental scorecards and operational targets.
- Engages with senior leadership and cross functional heads to gather data, validate strategic assumptions, and build organizational buy in.
- Identifies strategic level risks, trends, and deviations.
- Identifies capability gaps in strategic thinking and BSC application across the organization.
Functional Accountabilities
- Performs advanced quantitative and qualitative analysis on clinical, operational, and financial datasets to identify trends, performance gaps, and strategic opportunities.
- Designs the KPI framework, defines measures and targets, and builds the architecture of dashboards and visual reports using Tableau or Power BI.
- Builds financial models, conducts scenario analyses, and performs cost benefit and ROI assessments to support strategic investment decisions.
- Identify trends, issues, or deviations from the project plan and recommend corrective actions.
- Maintains oversight of the strategic project portfolio, monitoring alignment of all initiatives with the BSC and strategic objectives.
- Conducts impact assessments and cost benefit analyses for process improvement initiatives.
- Authors strategic presentations, memos, and briefing documents for the CSO, C Suite, and Board.
- Attends strategic steering committees and executive meetings as an analytical resource.
- Responds to time sensitive analytical requests from the CSO and executive team.
Job Qualifications and Requirements
- Strong analytical skills with attention to detail and ability to interpret complex data.
- 4–6 years in data analysis, business strategy, or strategic planning roles. Healthcare sector experience is a strong advantage.
- Proficient in Excel, PowerPoint, and data visualization tools (e.g., Power BI, Tableau).
- Experience working in structured environments with multiple stakeholders.
- Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Healthcare Management, Data Analytics, Economics, or related field — required. Master's degree (MBA, MHA, MPH) — strongly preferred.
- Certification in project analysis, business analytics, or project management (e.g., KPI, OKR, BSC..etc) – preferred.
- Certifications in strategy, analytics, or performance management (e.g., BSC Professional, OKR, PMP, Data Analytics) — preferred.
Skills
- Excellent administrative and organizational skills.
- Good communication skills in Arabic and English (verbal and written).
- Strong proficiency in Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook).
- Ability to prepare clear reports, meeting minutes, and maintain accurate records.
- Time management skills with attention to detail and accuracy.
- Basic knowledge of IT service workflows and healthcare IT systems is desirable.
