Role Overview
Support product quality, compliance, quality systems, and continuous improvement across UAV production.
Develop and maintain quality systems, drive root cause analysis and corrective actions, and ensure compliance with AS9100 and customer requirements.
Quality Systems and Process Development
- Develop, implement, and maintain quality plans, inspection criteria, and control plans for UAV components and assemblies.
- Design and update work instructions, checklists, and acceptance criteria in line with engineering and customer requirements.
- Establish calibration programmes and measurement system analysis, including Gauge R&R, for inspection equipment.
Non-Conformance and Improvement
- Lead root cause analysis using 8D, 5-Why, and Fishbone methods for recurring or critical non-conformances.
- Own CAPA activities and ensure timely investigation, corrective action, and closure of NCRs.
- Analyze defect and quality trends to identify systemic issues and drive preventive action.
- Support MRB disposition decisions for non-conforming material.
- Train inspectors and technicians and drive initiatives to reduce scrap, rework, and cycle time.
- Report quality metrics and KPIs to management.
