Role Overview

Manage quality assurance and quality control across structural steel, automotive packaging, and material handling equipment manufacturing lines.

The position is based in Ahmedabad and is full-time.

Inspection and Quality Control

  • Perform incoming raw material checks.
  • Conduct in-process fabrication and welding audits.
  • Complete final dispatch inspections.

Standards and Finish Verification

  • Ensure assemblies meet ISO 9001, EN 15085 or AWS welding specifications, and customer load-bearing requirements.
  • Test powder coating, galvanizing, and paint thickness.

Defect Analysis and Documentation

  • Log non-conformities, conduct root cause analyses, and implement corrective and preventive actions to reduce scrap.
  • Maintain inspection test plans, check sheets, calibration records, and quality certificates.

Requirements

  • Diploma or B.Tech/B.E. in Mechanical or Production Engineering.
  • 1–4 years of hands-on QA/QC experience in heavy fabrication, sheet metal, or welding environments.
  • Practical knowledge of 7 QC tools, GD&T, and precision measuring tools.

Compensation

  • Salary is ₹24,500–₹32,500 per month, commensurate with experience.
