Responsibilities
- Manage and oversee In House and Distributed Applications related projects and development team
- Help select the best development platform and ensure user requirements are provided for by the latest tools
- Analyze possible software and application program changes to ensure congruence with long term planning and strategy
- Design, implement, document and develop applications as per specified budget and plan
- Implement KPI’s and best practices for In House and Distributed Applications System Analysis
- Develop new applications as per user requirements
- Correct bugs and errors and perform unit testing
- Conduct trial runs and perform testing of programs and software applications
- Compile and document programs and perform revisions
- Write, analyze, review, and rewrite programs
- Write or contribute to instructions or manuals to guide end users
- Perform systems analysis and programming tasks
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science
- At least 8 years’ experience in financial services with a specialization in web or mobile application development
- Knowledge in .Net and Oracle PL/SQL
- Ability to analyze and improve architecture of existing systems
- Ability to design secure, highly scalable, end to end software solutions for complex implementations
- Training courses and certification in systems technology, programming and banking software
- Specific courses in IT security Architecture for web applications

Job Purpose Summary
- The incumbent is primarily responsible for managing and overseeing In House and Distributed Applications related projects and development team. The incumbent will also help select the best development platform and ensure that user requirements are provided for by the latest and most effective tools
Essential Duties & Responsibilities by Dimensions
- Carefully analyze possible software and application program changes to ensure congruence with the Group’s long term planning and approved strategy.
- Design, implement, document and develop applications as per the specified budget and plan.
- Implements KPI’s and best practices for In House and Distributed Applications System Analysis
- Promote cost consciousness and efficiency and enhance productivity, to minimise cost, avoid waste, and optimise benefits for the bank.
- Act within the limits of the powers delegated to the incumbent.
- Liaise with the concerned business for their information requirements and follow up as and when required to answer their business needs.
- To assist customers in all their queries on Bank’s product and seek solution to their requests.
- Maintain activities in accordance with Service Level Agreements (SLAs) with internal departments/units to achieve improvements in turn around time.
- Build and maintain strong/effective relationships with related departments/units to achieve the Group’s objectives.
- Provide timely/accurate data to external/internal Auditors, Compliance, Financial Control and Risk when required.
- Develop new applications as per user requirements and the plan specified by the designated systems analysts.
- Correct bugs and errors by making appropriate changes and then perform unit testing to the program to ensure that the desired results are produced.
Education/Experience Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science.
- At least 8 years’ experience in financial services with a specialization in web or mobile application development.
- Knowledge in .Net and Oracle PL/SQL
- Analyze and improve architecture of existing systems to ensure that they meet the latest industry standard technology requirements.
- Ability to design secure, highly scalable, end to end software solutions for complex implementations.
- Training courses and certification in systems technology, programming and banking software.
- Specific courses in IT security Architecture for web applications.
