Job Summary

  • The incumbent will manage the Global Cash Management and Trade services products as well as service and implementations of QNB Group in line with the overall QNB Group strategy. The role includes Cash management product, Trade Services Product, Channels, Service and Implementations and Portfolio Man

Main Responsibilities

  • A. Shareholder & Financial: Ultimately responsible for development of cash management and Trade Services products, marketing the products and value added service proposition for customers to uphold banks position as a key cash management and Trade services player in the global markets it operates in
  • B. Customer (Internal & External): Accountable for proactive gathering and analysis of market and business intelligence information as well as interfacing with Business Intelligence and Economic Research departments to ensure that Department’s activities are targeted to meet prevailing customer need
  • C. Internal (Processes, Products, Regulatory): Accountable for preparations and implementation of Cash and Trade strategic and business plans in relation to Corporate and Institutional Banking strategy and QNB Group objectives. Responsible for initiation of products, and/or offerings development/ en
  • D. Learning & Knowledge: Well informed of the market competitive structure, industry practices and regulations in relation to cash and trade products. Education and Experience Requirements

  • University graduate BA or MBA preferably with a Major in Marketing, Banking, Finance, Accounting, Economics, Business Administration or Information Technology (related field of study), Master’s degree is highly preferred.
  • At least 8 years of banking relevant experience, preferably within a highly rated international bank.
  • Outstanding oral and written communication skills in English
  • Knowledge of Arabic language preferred
  • Knowledge of any relevant widely used languages in a business environment is an advantage
  • Knowledge of risk management concept and practices
  • Understanding of relevant laws, regulations and practices pertaining to cash management and trade services in particular and Banking Industry in general
  • Good understanding of Corporate Banking customer base, it's needs and expectations
  • Familiar with balanced scorecard approach
  • Outstanding financial planning and budgeting ability
  • Strong analytical skills with ability to communicate both verbally and in writing
  • Proficiency in preparation and utilization of financial modeling
