Job Summary

  • Accountable for management of all Custody Clients and the Client management team.
  • Leads the team to maintain and grow the Custody Client Portfolio and achieve targets.

Main Responsibilities

  • Implement strategies to achieve volume, revenue, and profit targets.
  • Ensure ongoing increase in market share and sustainable growth rate on the Custody client portfolio.
  • Define, establish and conduct reviews on procedures for onboarding, client meetings, business cases, client engagement plans.
  • Build and maintain strong relationships with related departments.
  • Oversee client referral and incentives.
  • Manage allocation of target clients to Relationship Managers and Officers.
  • Monitor and maximize sales conversion.
  • Responsible for onboarding process and KYC documentation.
  • Set and agree on sales targets with team members.
  • Participate in high value client discussions.
  • Manage and resolve client issues.
  • Track client acquisition pipeline and produce monthly sales reports.

Education and Experience Requirements

  • University graduate preferably in Marketing, Banking, Finance, Accounting, Economics, Business Administration or IT; Masters preferred.
  • At least 12 years of experience in client management and business development, ideally in custody banking, investment management or fund administration.
  • Minimum of 5 years of hands on experience from custody operations.
  • Excellent knowledge of Custody and institutional banking products.
  • Management experience and track record of successful business strategy formulation and implementation.
  • Proven leadership skills in performance monitoring and engagement for staff management.
