Job Purpose Summary
- Support the delivery and evolution of the Corporate Planning function across QNB covering Doha, Branches, Representative Offices and Subsidiaries.
- Support the definition of key performance indicators (KPIs) across financial and non financial dimensions for business, support and control divisions.
- Support the coordination and execution of the quarterly Performance Management process.
- Review and analyse KPIs and scorecards across all divisions to provide perceptive and value adding insight of the bank’s performance and execution of strategy.
- Work with strategy development and PMO teams to assist in the development of the annual business plans across all divisions.
Essential Duties & Responsibilities by Dimensions
- Align the annual business plan with the bank’s strategic objectives.
- Develop all business plan and performance management related information on a Group wide level to Executive Management and the Board.
- Implements KPI’s and best practices for Senior Manager, Corporate Planning.
- Promote cost consciousness and efficiency.
- Manage the gathering of input from all relevant parties to develop the overall business plan.
- Coordinate and align with all business and support divisions for business planning and performance management.
- Manage requests to changes to KPIs during the year.
- Support coordination and alignment with subsidiaries.
- Manage and support the analysis of data from the KPI Performance management exercise.
- Manage the coordination of the Group’s corporate planning initiatives.
- Monitor the development of business plans for all business and support divisions.
- Ensure alignment and consistency across all business plans on a Group wide level.
Education & Experience Requirements
- Bachelor degree University graduate, Master’s degree is an advantage.
- At least 8 years work experience with minimum of 3 years of similar experience with a reputed financial Institution.
- Business and/ or functional experience or exposure.
- Previous experience in a corporate planning and performance management role.
- Awareness of a management consulting approach (previous role in such is an advantage).
- Experience with performance management, balance scorecard approach and management of information systems (MIS).
- Deep understanding and knowledge of the activities and functions of the various business and support divisions in a financial institution.
- Well developed numerical, analytical, evaluation skills.
