Job Purpose Summary

  • Support the delivery and evolution of the Corporate Planning function across QNB covering Doha, Branches, Representative Offices and Subsidiaries.
  • Support the definition of key performance indicators (KPIs) across financial and non financial dimensions for business, support and control divisions.
  • Support the coordination and execution of the quarterly Performance Management process.
  • Review and analyse KPIs and scorecards across all divisions to provide perceptive and value adding insight of the bank’s performance and execution of strategy.
  • Work with strategy development and PMO teams to assist in the development of the annual business plans across all divisions.

Essential Duties & Responsibilities by Dimensions

  • Align the annual business plan with the bank’s strategic objectives.
  • Develop all business plan and performance management related information on a Group wide level to Executive Management and the Board.
  • Implements KPI’s and best practices for Senior Manager, Corporate Planning.
  • Promote cost consciousness and efficiency.
  • Manage the gathering of input from all relevant parties to develop the overall business plan.
  • Coordinate and align with all business and support divisions for business planning and performance management.
  • Manage requests to changes to KPIs during the year.
  • Support coordination and alignment with subsidiaries.
  • Manage and support the analysis of data from the KPI Performance management exercise.
  • Manage the coordination of the Group’s corporate planning initiatives.
  • Monitor the development of business plans for all business and support divisions.
  • Ensure alignment and consistency across all business plans on a Group wide level.

Education & Experience Requirements

  • Bachelor degree University graduate, Master’s degree is an advantage.
  • At least 8 years work experience with minimum of 3 years of similar experience with a reputed financial Institution.
  • Business and/ or functional experience or exposure.
  • Previous experience in a corporate planning and performance management role.
  • Awareness of a management consulting approach (previous role in such is an advantage).
  • Experience with performance management, balance scorecard approach and management of information systems (MIS).
  • Deep understanding and knowledge of the activities and functions of the various business and support divisions in a financial institution.
  • Well developed numerical, analytical, evaluation skills.
