Job Purpose Summary

  • Assist SVP/VP to drive cultural change around Lean across QNB Group.
  • Lead and manage the Group's Lean and Six Sigma agenda under the Innovation department.
  • Own, lead and manage selected portfolio of Lean projects across QNB Group's international network with minimal supervision.

Essential Duties & Responsibilities

  • Deliver and execute on operational excellence, reengineering and end to end process improvement initiatives.
  • Develop and deploy Lean/Six Sigma/Change Management standards and process improvement methodology.
  • Create metrics/KPIs for performance monitoring and quality measurement.
  • Ensure relevant training and coaching on methodology to designated multipliers.
  • Drive operational excellence with focus on customer orientation and service quality.
  • Interact with SVP/VP to obtain new process improvement mandates and participate in project idea generation.
  • Identify benefits, quantify targeted results, establish measurement criteria and assist in prioritization.
  • Manage multiple projects and/or assume role of leading larger projects.
  • Direct and control all work within DMAIC phases.
  • Ensure projects remain on time, on budget and deliver expected results.
  • Evaluate data and trends to identify improvement opportunities and perform statistical process analyses.
  • Coach internal process improvement teams to refine Lean/Six Sigma tools.

Education & Experience Requirements

  • Bachelor Degree from leading academic institution with focus on business administration.
  • Minimum of 10 years experience in organization and process reengineering, business consulting and project management or equivalent in financial services.
  • Certified Lean Six Sigma Master Black Belt with minimum of 5 years experience and technical mastery.
  • Demonstrated track record using Lean Six Sigma Methodology principles and practices.
  • Minimum of two years experience as lead instructor to train Black Belts and/or Green Belts.
  • Experience in coaching a minimum of five Lean Six Sigma projects from initiation to closure.
  • Demonstrated career development, progress, and excellent team leadership skills.
  • Strong knowledge of financial services from an operational and support perspective.

Legal, Regulatory, and Risk Framework Responsibilities

  • Comply with all applicable legal, regulatory and internal compliance requirements.
  • Understand and effectively perform role under Three Lines of Defence principle.
  • Ensure systematic good outcomes for clients in accordance with Conduct Risk policy.
  • Support framework of RCSA, KRI, Incident reporting and remediation.
  • Maintain appropriate knowledge to ensure full qualification to undertake the role.
  • Complete all mandatory training provided by the Bank.
