- Review project specifications, approved procedures, Inspection and Test Plans, WPS/PQR, and applicable codes before inspection
- Carry out welding, fabrication, material, fit up, welding clearance, and construction/installation inspections

Requirements
- Minimum 5–8 years of relevant experience as a Welding Inspector in the oil & gas or construction industry
- Certified Welding Inspector qualification, CSWIP 3.2, is mandatory
- ASNT NDE Level II certification is required
- Familiarity with international codes and standards such as ASME, API, and AWS
- Strong knowledge of welding processes, inspection techniques, NDT methods, and quality control procedures
- Ability to read and interpret engineering drawings, WPS/PQR, technical specifications, and project documents
- Good knowledge of inspection reporting, documentation, and quality records management
- Strong understanding of material inspection, welding inspection, weld repair verification, and traceability requirements
- Knowledge of HSE requirements, PPE compliance, and permit systems
- Strong problem solving skills and attention to detail
- Good technical judgement and decision making ability
- Effective communication and coordination skills

Role Overview
- Welding Inspector is responsible for ensuring that all welding, fabrication, material inspection, and related construction activities are carried out in accordance with project specifications, approved procedures, applicable codes, quality requirements, and HSE standards.
- The role includes inspection coordination, PQR/WQT activities, NDT/NDE coordination, weld repair witnessing, material traceability verification, inspection reporting, quality documentation, and client/vendor coordination.
- The position supports project execution by monitoring welding quality, identifying non conformances, maintaining proper records, and ensuring final inspection, certification, and handover requirements are completed.
