Role Description
- Preparing and implementing Project Quality plan.
- Setting-up/establishing and monitoring all project QA/QC.
- Implementing project procedures and PQP, on approval by the Client.
- Reviewing Method Statements, preparing corresponding Inspection & Test Plans and checklists/forms and obtaining approval from Client, as required.
- Planning and allocating various QA/QC activities to team members.
- Orientating/training staff, workmen and subcontractor personnel on quality requirements.
- Coordinating with the site team for effective implementation of the approved PQP.
- Coordinating with subcontractors for implementation applicable parts of the PQP.
- Identifying, calibrating, reviewing and maintaining a list of testing and measuring equipment.
- Identifying testing laboratories and obtaining approvals.
- Inspecting and testing incoming materials, activities/workmanship per ITP and maintaining identifiable and traceable records.
- Coordinating with the site team to prepare Requests for Inspection (RFIs).
Requirements
- Experience in civil engineering, quality assurance, and project management.
- Familiarity with method statements, inspection and test plans, and quality control procedures.
- Ability to coordinate with site teams and subcontractors.
- Proficiency in using testing and measuring equipment.
- Experience in reviewing and approving method statements and inspection plans.
