Core Code io is seeking a detail-oriented QA Tester to verify software quality before release.
The role includes manual and automated testing, defect communication, and quality validation across the software development lifecycle.
Responsibilities
- Execute manual and automated tests to verify software functionality and quality.
- Review requirements, specifications, and user stories to develop test scenarios.
- Create and maintain test cases, test scripts, and testing documentation.
- Identify, document, track, and reproduce software bugs and defects.
- Perform functional, regression, integration, usability, and exploratory testing.
- Verify bug fixes and ensure issues are properly resolved.
- Collaborate with developers, product managers, designers, and other teams to resolve defects.
- Participate in lifecycle testing and perform cross-browser, cross-platform, and device testing.
- Validate application behavior against business and technical requirements.
- Maintain test results, defect records, and testing progress.
- Communicate testing status, risks, and quality concerns to stakeholders.
- Improve QA processes, tools, standards, and documentation.
Required Skills and Requirements
- Strong understanding of software testing and quality assurance principles.
- Previous experience in QA testing, software testing, quality assurance, or a similar role.
- Experience creating and executing manual test cases.
- Experience identifying, documenting, and tracking software defects.
- Familiarity with Jira, TestRail, Azure DevOps, or similar platforms.
- Understanding of web and software application testing processes.
- Experience performing regression and functional testing.
- Ability to analyze requirements and translate them into effective test scenarios.
- Reliable internet connection and a suitable setup for remote work.
- English proficiency is required when working with English-speaking teams or technical documentation.
