About the Role
The Orchard Place is seeking a QA/QC Engineer to ensure construction activities comply with approved drawings, specifications, and authority requirements in Dubai. Responsibilities
- Review IFC/shop drawings, method statements, and material approvals before work starts
- Inspect civil, structural, architectural, and MEP works for quality compliance
- Monitor concrete works, reinforcement, formwork, waterproofing, and finishing activities
- Prepare and coordinate Inspection Requests (IRs) with consultant/client
- Verify materials delivered on site match approved submittals and certificates
- Maintain quality records, test reports, MIR/IR logs, and daily reports
- Raise and close NCRs for non conforming works
- Coordinate with site engineers, subcontractors, consultants, and planning team
- Ensure compliance with Dubai Municipality, Civil Defence, DEWA, and other authority requirements
- Support testing, commissioning, snagging, and project handover documentation
Requirements
- Bachelor's Degree in Civil Engineering or related field
- Experience in construction QA/QC
- Knowledge of ITPs, inspections, and quality standards
- Familiarity with Dubai construction regulations
- Strong communication and documentation skills

Job Purpose
