We are seeking a meticulous QA Engineer to ensure the integrity and quality of our client's data solutions.
This role is crucial for validating data transformations, reporting accuracy, and overall data warehouse performance within a dynamic environment.
Key Responsibilities
- **Test Case Execution:**
- Plan and execute data quality test cases across data warehouse, ETL processes, reports, and BI dashboards.
- **Test Script Development:**
- Build automated test scripts using SQL and Python to manage high-volume and complex datasets effectively.
- **Defect Analysis:**
- Execute test cases and analyze results to identify and pinpoint defects and areas requiring enhancement.
- **Agile Collaboration:**
- Actively participate in agile development methodologies, including sprint planning, daily stand-ups, and retrospective meetings.
- **Reporting:**
- Provide comprehensive test execution reports and insights to project stakeholders.
Required Skills & Experience
- **ETL Testing Expertise:**
- Proven experience in testing complex ETL processes and data warehousing solutions.
- **Database Proficiency:**
- Strong hands-on experience with Amazon Redshift and Oracle databases.
- **Advanced SQL Skills:**
- Proficiency in writing and executing advanced SQL queries for data validation.
- **Scripting Capabilities:**
- Experience in developing Python scripts for test automation and data manipulation.
- **BI and Reporting Validation:**
- Demonstrated ability to test reports and BI dashboards for accuracy and completeness.
