- Gather, document, and validate business and technical requirements from stakeholders across the product team
- Translate business needs into user stories, functional specifications, and acceptance criteria for engineering teams
- Maintain traceability between requirements, backlog items, and delivered features, supporting backlog management and refinement
- Analyze Order Management System API data flows across core microservices and downstream systems
- Write and troubleshoot SQL queries to investigate data issues, reconciliation mismatches, and production incidents
- Support root cause analysis of production issues using observability data — logs, traces, and DQL queries in Dynatrace
- Support API integrations: contract reviews, OpenAPI specification preparation, UAT planning, test case design, and defect triage
Requirements
- 3 5 years in business/technical analysis roles on API driven, microservices based products
- Hands on API analysis with Postman; OpenAPI/Swagger familiarity
- Working SQL for data investigation, reconciliation checks, and production incident support
- Log analysis with observability tooling — Dynatrace preferred (logs, traces, DQL)
- Requirements engineering: user stories, functional specifications, acceptance criteria, and traceability
- Backlog management within agile delivery — refinement, prioritization, and sprint ceremonies
- Experience with airline or travel retailing/distribution systems — order management, reservations, or NDC/ONE Order concepts
- Analytical and detail oriented; moves comfortably between business conversations and technical investigation
- Clear, structured documentation and communication for business and engineering audiences alike
- Collaborative in agile teams and comfortable in an onsite, client facing environment
