Develop and maintain ETL pipelines using Python for data from multiple sources.
The role supports data extraction, transformation, validation, testing, and operational reliability for the Truist engagement.
Responsibilities
- Write efficient SQL queries for extraction, validation, reconciliation, and performance tuning.
- Implement data cleansing, transformation logic, and business rules for high-quality datasets.
- Collaborate with stakeholders to gather requirements and define technical workflows.
- Monitor pipeline execution, troubleshoot failures, and implement preventive fixes.
- Maintain ETL documentation, data mappings, and operational runbooks.
- Follow coding standards, version control practices, and code review processes.
- Prepare test data, validate outputs, and ensure end-to-end data integrity.
Requirements
- Proficiency in Python and ETL pipeline development.
- Ability to write SQL queries for extraction, validation, reconciliation, and performance tuning.
- Ability to troubleshoot pipeline failures and perform root-cause analysis.
- Ability to support testing and validate end-to-end data integrity.
