Lead SAP TMS Consultant

Role Overview

Required Qualifications

• A bachelor’s degree or foreign equivalent from an accredited institution is required, with progressive specialty experience accepted in lieu of education.
• At least seven years of information technology experience is required.
• At least two end-to-end implementation projects and at least one Lead Solution Consultant engagement are required.
• Experience with full-lifecycle SAP TM implementations and TM-EWM integration is required.
• The position may require relocation, travel to project locations, and travel within Canada.

Required Technical Skills

• Analyze complex business processes and create requirements aligned with enterprise architecture standards.
• Define solution architecture and direct ERP customization and integration efforts.
• Develop external-system integrations and lead large-scale data migration strategies.
• Apply performance optimization, compliance, security, and reliability practices.
• Understand life sciences and pharmaceutical business processes, GxP, and SOX requirements.
• Use release governance, incident management, and test execution processes or tools.

Consulting Responsibilities

• Define problems, propose solutions, and support development, configuration, and deployment.
• Guide teams on project processes and deliverables and contribute to proposals and project scope definition.
• Review team solutions, recommend improvements, and advise client business teams.
• Track deliverables, report to customers, and support client training and internal capability building.
• Prepare and review requirements, functional specifications, solution designs, and project estimates.

Preferred Qualifications

• Excellent analytical and communication skills are preferred.
• A proactive approach to problem solving and strong team management skills are preferred.
• Experience in a global delivery model is an advantage.
• Experience presenting solutions in architecture or design meetings and obtaining deployment approval is preferred.
• Experience preparing proposals and effort estimates is preferred.

Workplace and Work Conditions

• Candidates should be within commuting distance of Calgary or willing to relocate.
• The position may involve sitting and working at a computer for extended periods.
• The role requires effective communication by telephone, email, and face to face.
