Responsibilities
- Assist in the sourcing of suppliers, vendors, and materials as per company requirements
- Obtain and evaluate quotations from vendors and negotiate prices when required
- Prepare and process purchase orders (PO) accurately and efficiently
- Coordinate with suppliers for order confirmations, delivery schedules, and shipments
- Track and follow up on outstanding orders and ensure timely delivery
- Maintain and update procurement records, purchase files, and supplier database
- Assist in resolving issues related to delayed deliveries, defective goods, or incorrect invoices
- Collaborate with internal departments (Inventory, Accounts, etc.) to understand purchasing needs
- Monitor stock levels to ensure timely reordering of materials
- Support in preparing reports on purchases, costs, and supplier performance
Requirements
- Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Supply Chain, Commerce, or related field
- 1 3 years of experience in a purchasing or procurement role preferred
- Good knowledge of purchasing processes and vendor management
- Proficiency in MS Office (Excel, Word, Outlook); experience with ERP systems is a plus
- Strong communication and negotiation skills
- English and Arabic
