Role Overview

The Public Relations Officer is the organization's liaison with government authorities, regulatory bodies, and external stakeholders.

The role manages corporate, legal, administrative, and regulatory requirements in a timely and compliant manner.

Licensing and Government Transactions

  • Manage corporate licenses, commercial registrations, permits, and regulatory documentation.
  • Liaise with government entities, municipalities, and legal institutions on approvals, registrations, certifications, and official transactions.
  • Process renewals, amendments, cancellations, and updates of licenses and legal entity records.

Legal Documentation

  • Coordinate notarization, attestation, legalization, powers of attorney, and contract-related formalities.
  • Obtain official records, land plans, property documents, and other government-issued documentation.
  • Administer external legal service providers, including onboarding, contracting, invoicing, and coordination.

Authority Relationships

  • Maintain relationships with DED, Abu Dhabi Municipality, Abu Dhabi Judicial Department, MOFA, and other relevant authorities.
  • Represent the organization before government and regulatory authorities when required.

Compliance and Advisory

  • Monitor regulatory developments, legislative changes, and government policies and advise stakeholders on their potential impact.
  • Guide internal teams on government procedures, regulatory requirements, and compliance-related matters.
  • Track submissions, approvals, licenses, permits, and legal documentation to support timely processing and compliance.

Qualifications and Experience

  • A bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Law, Public Administration, or a related field is preferred.
  • At least 8–10 years of experience in a UAE Public Relations Officer, Government Relations Officer, or similar role is required.
  • Experience managing trade licenses, corporate registrations, government transactions, document attestations, and regulatory compliance is required.
  • Strong knowledge of UAE government entities and portals including DED, TAMM, MOFA, Abu Dhabi Municipality, ICP, and Abu Dhabi Judicial Department is required.
  • Fluent English is required; Arabic is highly preferred.
  • A strong network with relevant UAE government authorities is advantageous.
