  • The company delivers work across key government entities and sectors, including healthcare, education, residential developments, mosques, and government offices.

Role Description

  • The Project Quantity Surveyor is a full time, on site role based in Abu Dhabi.
  • This position is responsible for preparing and reviewing Bills of Quantities (BOQs), monitoring project costs, and supporting cost planning from pre contract to post contract stages.
  • Day to day tasks include evaluating contractor and supplier quotations, preparing interim valuations, tracking variations, and producing accurate cost reports for project stakeholders.
  • The role also involves coordinating with project managers, engineers, and procurement teams to ensure cost efficiency, adherence to contractual requirements, and alignment with project budgets and timelines.
  • The Project Quantity Surveyor will contribute to risk identification, value engineering, and continuous improvement of cost management practices across projects.

Qualifications

  • Strong cost control and cost management skills, with experience in monitoring budgets and managing project expenditures.
  • With 3 yrs relevant experience in the field
  • Proficiency in BOQ preparation, measurement, and quantification for structural and refurbishment works.
  • Experience in cost planning and forecasting throughout project life cycles.
  • Ability to prepare clear and accurate cost reporting and financial summaries for management and clients.
  • Bachelor’s degree in Quantity Surveying, Civil Engineering, Construction Management, or a related field.
  • Hands on experience in building or infrastructure projects, preferably with government or institutional clients.
  • Knowledge of standard forms of contracts and procurement methods used in the construction industry.
  • Strong analytical, numerical, and negotiation skills, with attention to detail and accuracy.
  • Proficiency in relevant QS and cost management software, and MS Office (Excel, Word, PowerPoint).
  • Effective communication and teamwork skills, with the ability to collaborate with multidisciplinary site teams.
  • Ability to work on site in Abu Dhabi and manage multiple tasks within tight deadlines.
