Responsibilities
- Supervise installation, testing, and commissioning of ELV systems including CCTV, access control, fire alarm, data networks, and public address systems.
- Coordinate site activities, assign tasks to technicians, and monitor progress.
- Ensure work is completed according to drawings, specifications, and safety standards.
- Inspect completed work and organize materials and tools.
- Report site issues and collaborate with engineers and other trades to resolve technical and scheduling conflicts.
- Maintain documentation and support inspections.
- Train team members on safe work practices and ensure compliance with company policies.
Requirements
- Minimum 5 years of relevant experience as ELV foreperson or senior technician
- Strong supervisory and team leadership skills
- Relevant technical diploma or trade certificate in electrical or electronics engineering
- Knowledge of ADQCC standards and approved project shop drawings
- Ability to read and interpret electrical drawings and ELV schematics
- Effective communication skills for coordination with engineers and site managers
- Currently based in UAE
- Valid driving license
- Proficiency in English; Arabic is an advantage

- Supervise day to day installation, testing, and commissioning of Extra Low Voltage systems such as CCTV, access control, fire alarm, data networks, and public address systems.
- Coordinate site activities, assign tasks to technicians, monitor progress, and ensure work is completed according to drawings, specifications, and safety standards.
- Inspect completed work, organize materials and tools, report site issues, and collaborate with engineers and other trades to resolve technical and scheduling conflicts.
- Maintain documentation, support inspections, train team members on safe work practices, and ensure compliance with company policies and project timelines.
Qualifications
- Strong supervisory skills, including team leadership, task allocation, and performance monitoring on construction sites.
- Minimum of 5 yrs relevant experience.
- Lead, assign tasks to, and monitor teams of electricians and technicians on site.
- Supervise the installation, testing, and termination of Electrical power systems and ELV systems.
- Arrange and verify required materials, tools, and equipment on site to maintain uninterrupted workflows.
- Ensure all installation practices strictly align with ADQCC standards and approved project shop drawings.
- Report daily progress, site challenges, and labor productivity directly to the MEP Site Engineer.
- Effective communication skills for coordinating with engineers, site managers, technicians, and other trades.
- Maintenance skills for troubleshooting, repairing, and maintaining ELV systems.
- Relevant technical diploma or trade certificate in electrical or electronics engineering, or ELV systems.
- Proven experience as an ELV foreperson or senior ELV technician in construction or contracting environments.
- Knowledge of applicable electrical and ELV standards, safety regulations, and quality assurance procedures.
