Requirements
- Bachelor's degree in Civil Engineering, Construction Management, or a related field
- Minimum 5 years relevant experience
- Strong planning and production planning skills
- Advanced analytical skills
- Effective communication skills
- Proficiency in Primavera P6, MS Project, and MS Office
- Knowledge of construction methodologies, contract conditions, and industry standards
- Ability to work on site in Abu Dhabi
- Currently based in UAE
- Valid Driving License
- Able to attend interview in person
- Relevant professional certifications in planning or project management (e.g., PMI, PSP) are an advantage

Role Description
- The Planning Engineer is a full time, on site role based in Abu Dhabi.
- Develop, update, and monitor project schedules, ensuring construction activities are planned and executed in line with contract requirements and milestones.
- Prepare progress reports, analyze variances, and support project control functions to keep stakeholders informed about timelines and performance.
- Coordinate with project managers, site engineers, and subcontractors, optimizing resource allocation, and contributing to production planning to meet project deadlines.
- Maintain planning documentation, assist in risk identification and mitigation, and support continuous improvement in planning processes.
Qualifications
- Strong planning and production planning skills, including experience in developing and maintaining construction project schedules.
- Minimum 5 yrs relevant experience.
- Advanced analytical skills with the ability to interpret project data, identify trends, and support decision making.
- Effective communication skills for coordinating with multidisciplinary teams, stakeholders, and external partners.
- Demonstrated experience in project control, including progress measurement, reporting, and variance analysis.
- Bachelor’s degree in Civil Engineering, Construction Management, or a related field.
- Proficiency in planning and scheduling software (e.g., Primavera P6, MS Project) and MS Office tools.
- Knowledge of construction methodologies, contract conditions, and industry standards, preferably in government and infrastructure projects.
- Ability to work on site in Abu Dhabi, collaborate in diverse teams, and adhere to safety and quality procedures.
- Relevant professional certifications in planning or project management (e.g., PMI, PSP) are an advantage.
- Currently based in UAE.
- With Valid Driving License.
