Project Manager - Tax Technology Implementation

Role Overview

Compensation and Contract

• Salary is AED 20,000 to AED 25,000 per month.
• The position is a one-year contract.

Project Delivery

• Own end-to-end delivery of complex software and technology implementation projects.
• Lead project teams and define scope, timelines, deliverables, and implementation plans.
• Monitor progress, risks, budgets, quality, and client satisfaction.
• Conduct planning, status reviews, and management reporting.
• Resolve issues and ensure timely milestone delivery.

Stakeholder Coordination

• Manage UAE-based clients, senior stakeholders, consulting teams, and implementation partners.
• Coordinate business, functional, and technical teams through implementation and production cutover.

Mandatory Requirements

• The candidate must be currently based in the UAE and have at least eight years of project management experience.
• Proven UAE experience in client-facing technology or software implementation projects is mandatory.
• Experience with end-to-end software implementation, ERP, enterprise applications, or systems integration is required.
• Experience with UAE-based clients and stakeholders and understanding of O2C and/or P2P processes are required.
• Strong stakeholder management, English communication, presentation, analytical, planning, and problem-solving skills are required.
• Willingness to travel within the Middle East is required.

Advantageous Experience

• Tax technology platforms such as Vertex, Avalara, Sovos, or similar are advantageous.
• UAE e-invoicing, indirect tax technology, cloud implementation, and consulting firm experience are advantageous.
• PMI or project management certification is advantageous.

Workplace and Schedule

• The candidate will work at the end client's location in Dubai Media City.
• Travel within the Middle East is approximately 30–40%.
• Working hours generally follow India business hours, with flexibility during critical production cutovers.
• Work location is in person.
