Role Overview
Planning Engineer role for construction projects involving demolition, structural, and steel works.
The role works with project and site teams to keep projects on programme and proactively manage delays.
Location and Work Arrangement
- The position is based in Dubai.
- Work location is in person.
Requirements
- Civil Engineering degree or diploma.
- 3–5 or more years of UAE construction planning experience.
- Hands-on Primavera P6 experience.
- Strong understanding of site execution, sequencing, and construction activities.
- Demolition, structural, or steel works experience is highly preferred.
- Good reporting, coordination, and communication skills.
- Immediate joiners are preferred.
Key Responsibilities
- Develop and maintain baseline and detailed project programmes using Primavera P6.
- Track site progress against planned activities and identify delays, slippages, and critical activities.
- Prepare recovery programmes and revised schedules for delayed works.
- Coordinate programmes with project managers, site engineers, procurement teams, and subcontractors.
- Prepare weekly and monthly progress reports, S-curves, dashboards, and progress updates.
- Plan and monitor manpower, materials, and equipment requirements.
- Review subcontractor programmes and integrate them into the master schedule.
- Support tender planning, construction methodology, and project mobilisation.
- Assist with extension of time and delay analysis using programme and progress records.
- Attend project meetings and communicate programme status, risks, and required actions.
Compensation
- Pay is up to AED 8,000 per month.
