Role Overview

Planning and Stakeholder Management

• Define project scope, objectives, deliverables, schedules, budgets, resource allocation, and risk strategies.
• Establish governance frameworks and communication protocols for project oversight.
• Act as the primary client contact and coordinate architects, engineers, contractors, consultants, and government entities.
• Facilitate meetings and communications to monitor project progress.

Execution, Risk, and Quality

• Oversee project phases from design through construction and handover.
• Track progress, manage changes, resolve issues, and ensure compliance with contractual, safety, and quality requirements.
• Identify financial, operational, and safety risks and implement mitigation strategies.
• Conduct quality controls, site inspections, and audits, and address deficiencies promptly.

Financial and Contract Management

• Manage project budgets, approve invoices, track expenditures, and prepare financial reports.
• Negotiate contracts, change orders, and variations with contractors and suppliers.
• Oversee procurement, project contracts, subcontractor agreements, contractual obligations, disputes, and claims.
• Prepare progress reports, payment applications, and other required documentation.

Handover and Closeout

• Coordinate final inspections and approvals and ensure all punch-list items are resolved.
• Compile final project documentation including as-built drawings, warranties, and operation and maintenance manuals.
• Ensure project deliverables are completed and handed over to the client according to contractual agreements.

Qualifications and Experience

• A bachelor’s degree in Civil Engineering, Construction Management, Architecture, or a related field is required.
• Proven project management experience in construction or engineering, ideally in a PMC role, is required.
• Experience managing large-scale, complex projects with multiple stakeholders is required.
• Strong understanding of construction processes, contract management, and project delivery methods is required.
• Project management software and construction management tools proficiency is required.
• Leadership, communication, negotiation, risk management, and conflict resolution skills are required.
• PMP, PRINCE2, or another relevant project management certification is advantageous.

Workplace

• The role includes regular construction site inspections and project delivery activities.
