Project Manager (Maintenance)

Role Overview

Project Delivery and Maintenance

• Plan and manage reactive, preventive, planned, fit-out, and maintenance projects from initiation through close-out.
• Develop schedules, resource plans, KPIs, maintenance programs, budgets, and cost-control measures.
• Coordinate contractors, suppliers, internal teams, facilities stakeholders, consultants, clients, and project sponsors.
• Conduct inspections, condition surveys, risk assessments, commissioning, testing, and technical issue resolution.
• Manage scopes, method statements, handover packs, as-built records, work orders, spare parts, and procurement.
• Drive compliance, continuous improvement, asset lifecycle optimization, and maintenance efficiency.

Required Qualifications and Experience

• Bring at least 10 years of experience managing multiple fit-out and maintenance projects simultaneously.
• Hold a bachelor’s degree or diploma in mechanical, electrical, civil, building services, engineering, or a related discipline.
• Have experience delivering projects in commercial, industrial, or infrastructure environments from planning through close-out.
• Hold a valid UAE driving licence and be willing to travel to client sites and work flexible hours when required.

Technical and Management Skills

• Strong knowledge of building services, HVAC, MEP systems, fire and life safety, and fit-out requirements.
• Lead project teams, coordinate contractors, and mentor junior engineers or technicians.
• Review designs, specifications, and technical drawings for compliance and constructability.
• Prepare project reports, KPIs, schedules, and management dashboards.
• Use MS Office, CMMS, and project or asset management software.

Work Environment

• The role supports facilities and client-site activities in Abu Dhabi and requires travel to client sites when needed.
