The Opportunity
WSP is seeking a strategic and collaborative Project Manager to deliver enterprise-wide initiatives and support lasting business adoption.
The role leads complex, cross-functional initiatives that drive organizational change and operational excellence.
The position works with the Program Management Office, business partners, and functional leads on the transformation roadmap.
Strategic Project Delivery
- Lead planning and execution of enterprise-wide transformation initiatives across HR, Legal, Procurement, Marketing and Communications, and Finance.
- Ensure project alignment with organizational goals and stakeholder expectations.
Collaboration and Change
- Partner with functional leads and business and technology stakeholders to confirm objectives, scope, and success metrics.
- Foster accountability and shared ownership across matrixed teams.
- Assess stakeholder impact and enable adoption so solutions become part of daily operations.
Governance and Risk
- Establish governance structures, reporting frameworks, and communication plans.
- Prepare updates and support steering committee discussions.
- Identify, assess, mitigate, and escalate project risks and issues.
Tools and Optimization
- Use Smartsheet, SharePoint, and PowerPoint to manage project plans, track deliverables, and communicate progress.
- Continuously improve project delivery processes and tools.
Experience and Capabilities
- 7+ years managing complex, multi-functional projects in financial services, engineering, or public sector environments.
- Ability to lead complex projects strategically with measurable outcomes.
- Ability to build trust and alignment across senior leaders, functional leads, delivery teams, and other stakeholders.
- Experience assessing stakeholder impact and enabling adoption.
- Experience embedding governance and reporting mechanisms.
- Strong written and verbal communication skills.
Certifications and Tools
- PMP certification is required.
- Agile Certified Practitioner certification is an asset.
- Proficiency in Smartsheet, SharePoint, and PowerPoint is required.
- Familiarity with ADKAR, Prosci, Lean Change, or similar frameworks is advantageous.
Compensation
- For Quebec and Atlantic Provinces, the listed compensation range is CAD 111,000 to CAD 147,400.
- The final salary may vary based on education, qualifications, certifications, experience, skills, seniority, location, performance, and organizational needs.
