The Opportunity

Provide finance and administrative support to construction managers and staff in WSP's Construction Management Services group.

Support highway and bridge infrastructure projects across British Columbia.

Receive hands-on training through the end of 2026 while filling a retirement position.

Project Finance and Administration

  • Manage Oracle project records, open contracts and projects, and control budgets at all levels.
  • Review project estimates and margin ratios and manage requests from WSP Finance.
  • Complete monthly financial reviews for projects over $1 million.
  • Create, review, and control client invoices and manage contract and billing terms.
  • Administer project data storage, tracking, collection, filing, and field office records.
  • Track contractor and supplier agreements, renewals, workers' compensation, and insurance documents.
  • Create Project Development Plans, maintain auditable information, and monitor budgets and reports.
  • Provide invoicing support and backup coverage for project controllers.
  • Support PPE inventory, fleet records, eRISP updates, and survey administration.

Skills and Qualifications

  • At least 5 years of accounting and finance experience is required.
  • Proficiency with Excel spreadsheets and Pivot Tables is required.
  • Organized and efficient use of Microsoft Office products is required.
  • Strong English writing and oral communication skills are required.
  • A valid Class 5 BC driver's licence and clean driving abstract are required.
  • Survey or construction industry knowledge is preferred.
  • A positive, team-oriented, creative approach is expected.

Compensation

  • The listed compensation range for British Columbia and several other regions is $69,700 to $92,300.
  • Final compensation may vary based on qualifications, experience, skills, seniority, location, performance, and business needs.
