The Opportunity
Provide finance and administrative support to construction managers and staff in WSP's Construction Management Services group.
Support highway and bridge infrastructure projects across British Columbia.
Receive hands-on training through the end of 2026 as part of a retirement-position transition.
Project Finance and Administration
- Manage project setup, open contracts, project budgets, estimates, margin ratios, and monthly financial reviews.
- Create, review, and control client invoices and manage contract and billing terms.
- Provide document control, system administration, project data tracking, filing, and field office administration.
- Track contractor and supplier agreements, renewals, insurance, WSBC documentation, vendors, and reactivations.
- Create Project Development Plans, maintain auditable information, and monitor budgets and reports.
- Provide invoicing assistance, backup coverage, PPE and fleet administration, eRISP updates, and survey support.
Skills That Set You Apart
- At least 5 years of accounting and finance experience is required.
- Proficiency with Excel spreadsheets and Pivot Tables is required.
- Organized, efficient, confident use of Microsoft Office products is required.
- Strong English writing and oral communication skills are required.
- A valid Class 5 BC driver's licence and clean driving abstract are required.
- Survey or construction industry knowledge is preferred.
Compensation
- The listed salary range is $69,700 to $92,300 for British Columbia and several other western and northern provinces.
- Final salary may vary based on qualifications, experience, skills, seniority, location, performance, and organizational needs.
