Opportunity
The Internal Controls Auditor will strengthen financial integrity across WSP’s global organization within Financial Reporting.
The role supports governance, compliance, internal controls, financial reporting, and continuous improvement initiatives.
Impact and Responsibilities
- Coordinate and perform NI 52-109 internal controls testing across global regions.
- Consolidate testing results and documentation for Audit Committee reporting.
- Document and align controls across regions and newly acquired businesses.
- Support management certification and strengthen the financial reporting control environment.
- Advise on control deficiency remediation and analyze deficiency trends and remediation status.
- Collaborate globally with finance and cross-functional teams on testing, documentation, and remediation.
- Contribute to the continuous evolution of internal controls processes.
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in business administration, accounting, or accounting information systems.
- CPA designation or progress toward the CPA designation.
- Three to five years of relevant external or internal audit experience.
- Experience with NI 52-109 and/or SOX 404 internal control testing and internal control frameworks.
