The Opportunity
Support safer, more resilient, and longer-lasting buildings across BC’s Lower Mainland.
Gain hands-on exposure to building performance, restoration, capital planning, and investigative work in office and field settings.
Your Impact
- Contribute to building investigation reports, design documentation, and technical appendices.
- Participate in building envelope reviews, restoration assessments, site investigations, and condition verifications.
- Perform non-invasive investigations involving ladders, heights, confined spaces, and detailed field measurements.
- Visit active construction sites to document observations, verify compliance, and collect field test results.
- Support work across residential, commercial, and education buildings.
- Develop toward specification writing, CRCA, and project management roles.
- Conduct property condition assessments and prepare depreciation reports for strata corporations, asset managers, and building owners.
- Develop capital plans for long-term decision-making and responsible investment.
- Share insights, lessons learned, and best practices with the team.
The Skills That Set You Apart
- Post-secondary education in Engineering Technology, Building Science, Civil or Mechanical Engineering, or a related discipline.
