- Lead execution from PO to project completion with respect to EHS, time, quality, cost commitment and drive change orders
- Run project financials including revenue recognition, cash, risk & opportunities, profit margin
- Manage customer contract and specifications, ensure alignment within the team
- Serve as main point of contact between client and customers, manage customer relationship for project duration
- Identify and maintain a risk register, actively work to mitigate and eliminate potential problems
- Lead needs with internal engineering teams to align on deliverables as per technical specification and customer requirements
- Identify supplier needs and coordinate with supply chain for new supplier qualification
- Control and support field operations tasks with respect to EHS, scope, schedule, and quality
- Continually identify ways to improve project execution and share learning
Requirements
- Electrical engineering background with design and installations experience of heavy duty power distribution in Datacenters or similar critical systems
- Minimum of 5 years Data Center project management experience plus hands on site works in Data Centers
- Bachelor’s or Master’s degree with bias towards electrical engineering
- Accredited Project Management qualifications with construction site bias in Electrical engineering
- Strong electrical background and/or training on datacenter technologies and systems
- Direct experience of electrical engineering, Power Management, Power Control, Mission Critical or Building Management and controls systems
- Experience with other large and complex industrial projects will also be considered

Role Overview
- Data Center project manager is required by our global and expanding client.
- We require an experienced Project Manager with experience delivering large scale complex data center projects in the GCC region and a background in electrical engineering.
- The PM is responsible for successful delivery of major projects from order intake through implementation and construction to handover.
Responsibilities
- Lead execution (incl. site activities and project reviews with customers) from PO to project completion with respect to EHS, time, quality, cost commitment and drive change orders.
- Run the project financials (Revenue recognition, cash, risk & opportunities, Profit margin).
- Manage the customer contract and specifications and ensure alignment within the team with the contract.
- As main point of contact between the client and its customers, ensure customer relationship management for the whole duration of the project.

Essential Experience
- An electrical engineering background with design and installations experience of heavy duty power distribution in Datacenters or similar critical systems applications.
- Minimum of 5 years Data Center project management experience plus hands on site works in Data Centers.
- A Bachelors’ Degree or Masters' Degree or equivalent with a bias towards electrical engineering.
- Accredited Project Management qualifications with a construction site bias in Electrical engineering.
- A strong electrical background and/or training on datacenter technologies and systems.
- Direct experience of electrical engineering, Power Management, Power Control, Mission Critical or Building Management and controls systems.
- Experience with other large and complex industrial projects will also be considered, especially in automation and controls.
