Role Overview
Project Engineer role supporting the planning, execution, and coordination of marine EPC construction projects.
Projects must be delivered safely, on time, within budget, and in compliance with quality standards.
Key Responsibilities
- Coordinate marine works including piling, dredging, reclamation, quay walls, jetties, and breakwaters.
- Prepare and review technical submittals, shop drawings, method statements, material approvals, and engineering documents.
- Coordinate clients, consultants, subcontractors, suppliers, and internal project teams.
- Monitor progress, manage risks, implement corrective actions, and support project planning and construction sequencing.
- Support procurement, resource allocation, commercial matters, variations, claims, and project documentation.
- Ensure compliance with specifications, contracts, QA/QC procedures, and HSE standards.
- Prepare reports and site records, resolve technical issues, attend meetings, and guide site teams.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Civil Engineering, Marine Engineering, or a related discipline.
- Minimum 8–12 years of marine construction project experience, preferably within the UAE or GCC.
- Proven experience executing marine EPC projects involving major marine infrastructure works.
- Strong knowledge of construction methodologies, engineering principles, and project coordination.
- Experience with technical submittals, method statements, material approvals, and project reports.
- Understanding of project controls, scheduling, QA/QC, HSE, and commercial construction matters.
- Familiarity with FIDIC contract conditions is preferred.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office and project management software.
- Valid UAE driving license.
